what would you choose?
Thank you for joining me here in this week's quiet little conversation, I very much appreciate you taking this time with my words, thoughts and images.
if you had the time and the inclination, what would you be interested in learning? what would you choose to dive deeper into?
i'm not sure if my previous life as a software engineer is why i enjoy learning; as i move thru my sixth decade, i still really love the process of exploring new ideas, new skills, new practices
it's why i started working with watercolours a few years ago...the way the pigment intermingles with the water...the way the texture and structure of the paper interacts with them is pure wonder and joy
and it's why i started a new online course to develop my writing to make these conversations as thoughtful, as beautiful and as valuable to you as i possibly can
Leaving you today with this tranquil image from an early morning visit to the territories of the Semiahmoo First Nation.
And as always, I want to express my gratitude to be living and working on the ancestral & unceded territories of the hən̓̓qəmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh speaking peoples.I honour the incredible depths of grace, courage and perseverance of Indigenous Peoples.
until next time,
Mardell
